The most interesting part is not the actual mystery but the deconstruction of kibbutz society. That would be my only regret about reading this book. The 3rd in the Michael Ohayon series, set in Israel. I am reminded in a way of the modern Irish police series by Tana French. There are no discussion topics on this book yet. I don’t remember any of the characters other than Michael appearing before and I didn’t find him as interesting as in previous books. Thank goodness there is so much more available today.

While I didn’t find the murder mystery terribly absorbing, I was fascinated by the details of kibbutz society. When the expiry date is reached your computer deletes the cookie.
