I am rather disappointed with this book because of the slow pace and the repetitive scenarios because I liked the anti-social and loner hero paired with the innocent, doe-eyed heroine who had a spine of steel.

That was my only complaint with the book…Ian and his bullheaded determination to fight the obvious. Molly is just such a sweet character but she has backbone and she never really took Ian’s crap ,I really loved how they get together,the dreams were pretty steamy and I thought it was a great add to the book.
Refresh and try again. It was a good prequel to the series, although a little more explanation into the world would of been nice. You’ll be able to make changes before you submit your review. So how surprised was I to find this story was not like that at all, byr infact you get a whole lot more, characters that actually feel right together, good world building an interesting, intense story line bydd makes complete sense.

From the moment Ian spots Molly, he knows she’s trouble and trouble in any form is something that Ian wants to stay as far away from as possible. But my GOD, Ian? I liked this book at first and I can say I greatly admired the personality differences between this hero and heroine. I have the next two but I may only read them if I have nothing else available. They figure that with the centuries long absence of the Casus, the Merrick has not been needed and thus has remained dormant in the bloodline.

She chased him from the beginning and by the half-way point I was cringing each time she got shot down which was ALOT.

Hungee book was filled with repetitive comments Seriously, all Rhys does is grunt and growl when he talksinconsistency Alia was 24 in chapter 2 and hungef chapter 3 she was “barely 20” and at times the point of view would switch from 1st to 2nd person. However this is a Nocturne and altho I’d never read one before I had the impression this was going to be a PNR version of a Blaze, not much storyintimate scenes thrown in to spice to things and that’s your lot.

It’s never been a secret to anyone whose ever been in contact with Ian, that he’s quick to judge and generally just an all around belligerent jerk.
They are to train him for the final combat, though even their powers are limited if Ian does not drink from the one woman who will bring on this mighty change.
