Books by Jeff Gothelf. Refresh and try again. This book not only lays out a much “leaner” approach than the typical User Centered Design UCD process, but gives real world examples on what this looks like in terms of a project setting.

I plan to put it jeeff practice and see where it leads. It focuses a lot on managing the process of UX rather than UX best practices.

The publication’s panel of judges chose five notable books, published during a month period ending June 30, that every serious programmer should read.

Jeff does a good job here providing a best first answer to many of these problems. Jeff borrows aggressively from Lean Startup thinking but I think that does a disservice, I think the principles of Lean UX extend far beyond the Lean Startup philosophy.

You can get some of that from this book. This gothelc shows you how to collaborate closely with other members of the product team, and gather feedback early and often. The team is working together to make use of the personas, content strategy unification and collaboration methods. The only downside is that I would like to see more on how to fight against traditional “feature factories”.

Amazon Rapids Fun stories for kids on the go. I rated 4 stars and not 5 because I would jefr liked some more detailed how-to’s for the entire process, and not just the concepts. A am kind of on the fence on this one. Gohtelf will be implementing this next month across leam company and cities and am excited and a little sweaty to do it.

Great book which I got for attending Jeff’s workshop in Graz Austria from the man himself. Things I really appreciated were the emphasis on cross functional teams and design sessions which include all roles.
